Questions about licence renewal
When should I start a renewal?
For individual licences, MCMC expects the application no later than six months before expiry. We start earlier to allow for queries.
Can I keep operating while the renewal is pending?
Where the application was submitted in time and is awaiting the Minister’s decision, licensees can generally continue operating; we help you evidence that. Do not rely on this for late applications.
What if the company has changed since the licence was granted?
Changes in shareholding, control, address or services may need to be notified or approved. We check this as part of every renewal.
